PyeongYang MyeonOk

As you can see on the English title on the signage, it  shows that this restaurant is very popular with  both Korean and foreigners.

PyeongYang is actually the name of the capital city in North Korea.

It has its own cool and plain taste. So in this hot weather like nowadays, I feel like cooling myself down with cold noodles. It was not that scorching hot like in summer, but still very humid.

You may think 10,000won for a bowl of cold noodles is quite expensive, but considering its amount of serving and good taste, it's worth it. Of course it would be better  if the price is cheaper.

This is pyeongyang naengmyeon. We call it pyeongppong among naengmyeon lovers as opposed to something you love to eat.

But there are two different reviews/opinions about it. There are those who really love it, but the others complain about its plain taste.

The noodles are thick but so tender.

If you get the bowl, just drink its cold soup at first, then put vinegar and mustard according to your preference, and stir.

 a plate of dumpling goes well with it.

I ate a lot of this today and I would strongly suggest that you try this restaurant if you want PyeongYang iced noodes.
